As a quick way to work around this, here is a simple keyboard emulator.
This gadget sends configurable xorg events for every available tux actuators and remote buttons.
This gadget depends on:
- the Python X Library: http://python-xlib.sourceforge.net/
- gtk and pygtk >= 2.10.0
