Hi.

I just got my tux droid, but cant get the fish and the tux to talk to each other...

The fish blinks slowly, while the tux greets me "hello" while powered on. But nothing more happens. The deamons are running fine according to tuxgdg. I have also flashed a new firmware to the droid/ fish by putting them in dfu etc, but no success.

Am I missing something, or is it doa?

which version of tuxsetup do you use ?

Hi. I am using Ubuntu 8.04 with tuxsetup 1.3-rc2. The daemon seems however to run fine..(?)

Can you check that the RF is connected? After you switch on tux, his eyes should turn and stay on while the eyes of the fish start flickering. I think the old tuxgi also reports the RF link status, I don't know about the gadget manager.

No.. The fish is blinking slowly as when tux is of and on. Tux eyes not being blue (well, the blinks for a very very short time when I turn him on, but Im pretty sure that it is no radio between them..

I arranged a return and replacement of tux with think geek - where I ordered him..

Yes, better do that. It seems one of the RF boards isn't working.
