tuxsetup 1.3 issue
Up to General discussion
Hi,
In 1.2.2 I could select between languages (I have GB and NL installed). However, 1.3 only gives me the GB voice in tuxgdg.
How can I get the NL voice in 1.3? I've tried a reboot but that did not fix things.
FM
Anyone managed to change the language or get another language after installing 1.3?
When I freshly boot I only can choose the two GB voices.
When I remove the British directory from the engines folder, kill the daemons and replug the fux, I do get the dutch voice!
1.2 did allow choosing the voice as long as no text was being spoken, but apparently 1.3 locks the language upon startup.
Any suggestions???
FM.
One more thing:
I could start 1.2 tuxgdg as regular user. However if I do that for 1.3 I get:
CONNECTED to tuxd

I would expect that the program would continue if it could not open the log file.

Thanks for pointing this out! We will look into this.
Thanks Se.
Got the same message from Remi. Apparently US always is there and one can load one additional language.
If US is not there the first additional language is loaded (in my case GB). After that the additional language is used up.
Still there is an oddity in the UI: When I did not have US, I only got the two GB voices, in the 1.3 controller.
After I installed US, both US, GB and NL were there (and after selecting NL, GB did not disappear in the UI although it did not work any more. (got the first voice instead). So the UI is not completely consistent.
