adding gadgets from the command line?

Posted by philip o brien at January 12. 2008

Is it possible to do this? I am running XFCE and I cannot drag and drop gadgets into the manager in this environment. Any other solution (except the obvious " move to gnome/kde" also gratefully accepted.

Hi,

You can stop the gadget manager, move yours gadgets to /opt/tuxdroid/apps/tux_manager/gadgets/, then start it again.

Luc.
