Bugs of tuxgdg

Posted by Emanuele Cisotti at September 09. 2007

I have 2 little bugs on tuxgdg.

The first is that i see a blank deamon near the tuxgdg one (see the image).

The second is that the Tux said "Back to manager" everytime he said the weather.

Bye!

Ciso

The second bug isn't a bug, it's a feature :p

It seems to be the same for all widgets. Once a widget has been executed, it says "Back to manager" to let you know it has finished its task.

Hi,

Thanks for tuxgdg, it's pretty cool ! :)

But here are some bugs i have :

1- When i try to drag and drop a gaget, i've got an error :
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "", line 136, in on_drag_data_received
File "", line 278, in show_message_save_gadget
File "/opt/tuxdroid/apps/tux_framework/libs/TGFormat.py", line 123, in get_nam
e_of_tgf_file
tgfile.open(path, 'r')
File "/opt/tuxdroid/apps/tux_framework/libs/TGFormat.py", line 54, in open
if not os.path.isfile(path) and os.path.exists(path):
File "/usr/lib/python2.4/posixpath.py", line 208, in isfile
st = os.stat(path)
TypeError: stat() argument 1 must be (encoded string without NULL bytes), not str

So i have to put them in the folder /opt/tuxdroid/apps/tux_manager/gadgets

2- If i change the city in the weather gadget, then I make a left-mouse on a gadget :
Xlib: unexpected async reply (sequence 0x21ee)!
And i must kill the gadget manager

3- The really bad one :
I can't assign a remote key to a gadget, if I click on a button in the assign button window, nothing happen !

I hope you could correct that.

thanks again !

PS: I'm using Debian testing
PS2: sorry for my english.....
