I've got some difficulties with the Alarm and the Gmail gadget.

First to the Alarm gadget: The alarm is only triggered if it's preset to P.M. If not it's not triggered at all. So I can't use Tux to wake me in the morning which is rather a pity. My System-Clock is set to 24-hour mode, could this be the reason?

Second to the Gmail gadget: It works fine as far as I can see, but from time to time Tux reads out the error message "An error occured when checking Gmail." This message can become realy annoing after some hours with my enabled Tux! The only way to stop this is to uninstall this gadget, because it isn't possible to deactivate it.

Are these bugs of the gadgets? Or could I solve these problems otherwise?

Hey Simon,

For the alarm gadget, having your clock set to '24h' mode is not the problem, so I will test and tell you what is the problem if you want. Anyway, if appear that's a bug, i'll fix it and ask to make a release.

For the Gmail gadget, it's a thing that I can change, you've right to say that it's a bit annoying ...

I don't had the time yet to have a look about Alarm gadget. But, good new ==> I've make some improvements check for the bug to the gmail gadget, now this gadget works perfectly, removed the error message and now, using the libgmail release that can work with the old interface of gmail website. The modified gadget need to be checked by Se, but if you want test it, I've make a commit to tuxisalive snv.

Thanks for the new version of the Gmail gadget!

Unfortunately in my case it doesn't seem to work: To test it I have sent myself an email. But as soon as I run the gadget tux only says that there isn't a new email! To see an error message I've run tuxgdg in a terminal and actually everytime the gadget tries to look for new emails the errormessage: "HTTP Error 400: Bad Request" is printed out. Is this a bug or could this probelm be caused by bad configuration?

Again to the alarm gadget: If you run the gadget tux says whether the alarm is enabled or not. For example: "The alarm is actually enabled." But I think what he really means is "The alarm is currently enabled." (actually = en faite in French not actuellement)

Furthermore I've got some ideas to improve the alarm gadget: I think it would be nice if the alarm message/action was repeated until you do something to stop Tux (hit a button on tux or the rc) and if there was a snooze function.
